Benzlers Series K, bevel gears, are the most energy-efficient solution for both light and heavy industries.

The product range offers countless combination possibilities and all imaginable built-in configurations.

The use of IEC standard motors provides a large choice of motor configurations, e.g. brake motors, motor external cooling, extra energy efficient motors, etc. In addition, the concept brings benefits to the end users in that these engines are easily available worldwide.

With a torque capacity of up to 50,000 Nm, this gear type solves tasks both as a traditional gear motor and in heavily loaded industrial gear drives.

Due to the design that combines bevel gear technology and regular gear steps, this type of gear exhibits very low energy losses. Series K bevel gears are therefore very energy efficient.

The K-angle gearboxes are part of Benzler’s SWIFT range and therefore share their modular components with e.g. series M, straight gears, and series F, flat gears. The advantages are obvious: a low number of components makes it possible to stock several gear types, increases delivery reliability, and reduces delivery time.

All gear housings are made of cast iron.

Type “M” is supplied both as a geared motor and as a gear with a free input shaft. The program includes all imaginable buildings; foot assembly, flange assembly, and more.

Type “M” is part of Benzler’s SWIFT range and therefore contains the same modular components as e.g. our series F flat gears and series K bevel gears. This increases delivery reliability and reduces delivery times for Series M as well.

A motorized unit is always supplied with IEC standard electric motors and thus offers access to a large selection of electric motors e.g. with integrated frequency converter, brake motor, external cooling, and motors rated in terms of energy efficiency higher than IE3.

All M sizes have cast iron gear housings designed to achieve maximum strength with as few materials as possible.
