Businesses were left devastated , when heavy rain battered towns and villages across West Yorkshire.  As many roads were turned into rivers, the Calderdale communities were woken to devastating floods.  One business affected was a local manufacturer on the bank of the river Calder.

Problem

The devastating impact of the flood waters and scale of the damage was clearly visible. A thorough inspection of the factory was immediately done, to assess the damage and advise on the action, needed to be taken. The priority was to liaise with directors and engineers on site to ensure the company would be fully operational as quick as possible, ensuring a fast, smooth and efficient service.

Solution

Our first task was to get our team of engineers to site to test all Motors, Pumps, Gear boxes, Control Panels, once tested any water damaged items were removed and taken back to our works, here they were dried out in our purpose built industrial oven and then overhauled, checking for any damage replacing any worn out parts. Once this was complete the next step was to get everything fitted back on-site, during this period we had our Engineers, all experts in their field on site daily, supporting the factory’s engineering team during the fitting, fault finding and repair of any control panels, ensuring we got on with the task with great speed and efficiency.
